What to Wear When You’re Ready For Fall, But It’s Still Summer
In my opinion, summer’s officially overstated its welcome. Everything in my bones is focused on fall, but the Georgia heat hasn’t gotten the memo yet. So, what’s a girl to do when she’s thinking about all things pumpkin spice, oversized wools coats, and knee-high boots? She finds a way to transition her wardrobe without sweating profusely. Okay, she still brings her favorite Dove Deodorant Spray with her for touch-ups.
The point is, I know I’m not the only one who’s ready to see others pull out their best fall wear. In fact, it’s one of the other things I live for besides everything that comes with one of the best seasons ever. But, what the heck are us fall lovers supposed to wear when it’s still hot outside???
Hear Me Out — Animal Print
I’ve been wearing it all summer, but I recently decided to be brave and break out my Steve Madden cow print heels. They’re the sole reason (pun intended) that I’ve been on the hunt for a nice bag to match them because look at the material!

Full Outfit
I picked up this H&M top a few years ago during a summer sale and forgot about it until recently. The gorgeous lemon color reminds me of the sun, but doesn’t feel off-putting next to the pops of brown and taupe in the rest of my OOTD.
As far as the pants are concerned, I snagged them during a PrettyLittleThing sale and love how well they fit! They’re also durable considered how much of a hit or miss fast fashion can be.
Though fall starts September 22, chances are it won’t start feeling like it until October. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t start transitioning your wardrobe! Incorporate shades of brown and animal print for a look that won’t leave you overwhelmed in the heat!
