Is it Time for Cardigan Season?

If you woke up this morning with a huge smile on your face because it’s fall, we’re on the same page. I’ve only been talking about it nonstop since July, but now I have a real reason to wear my cardigans. Particularly, I’m excited to wear my favorite one with multiple outfits.

It’s been in rotation since my son was a toddler (IYKYK) and has raised questions about where I got it from. To be honest, I forgot the website’s name but it was a Black-owned company that offered this style in different colors. Seriously, I brought this twice and have a deep brown option.

Since it’s still way too hot to wear a full-brown “fall outfit,” this cardigan’s perfect for layering with. If you’re wondering why, it’s because you need something that gets you through those cool mornings but can be peeled off when it gets warmer in the afternoon.

For this outfit, I chose a simple “monochromatic” base that’s offset by the cardigan as well as the cream strappy heels and half-moon mini bag. Since I opted for a hair color that’s become my fall staple (balayage chocolate), I wanted the rest of my outfit to complement it.
